Welcome to our Lodge located on the Kern river in Kernville, CA.  We are across the street from Riverside Park, just a stones throw from the river with great fishing and kayaking at your doorstep.  We offer the unique combination of a small lodge and great location.  We feature four different units able to accomodate individuals or groups. Our largest has a maximum occupancy of six!  Fall asleep to the tranquil sounds of the river as it winds its way down to Lake Isabella.

All of our units feature queen beds and fully equipped kitchens. Come and enjoy our cozy accommodations, complete with a front and back yard, and off street parking. It's a great base for hiking, fishing, rafting or just relaxing!  Less than a three hour drive from the LA area, the Adrenaline Watersports Lodge combines the magic of a remote getaway with the convenience of a small town.

Our main lodge is the largest unit at approximately 1500 sq. feet.  It features 2 bedrooms, 2 bathrooms, kitchen, livingroom and a large balcony with a 180 degree view of the river. Great for families and friends or business retreats.

Unit 2                       ^$ 149/night

This one bedroom unit sleeps up to four people.  It has a cozy den and a separate sleeping area with a queen size bed.  The futon couch converts into a bed as well. 
It also has a kitchen and bathroom with shower.

Unit 3                       ^$ 149/night

This unit features two queen beds, a kitchen, and bathroom along with front and rear entry.  The maximum occupancy is four, and as in all our units we have complimentary coffee ready to brew.

Cottage                   Now  ^$ 149/night

Our plush cottage is also located on the properity and has an extra measue of privacy being separate from the lodge. It is a one bedroom unit with a queen size bed, living room, full kitchen and new bathroom. 

The main lodge is great for both families and friends with lots of room to spread out and relax.

All of our units feature queen size beds and kitchens, complete with refrigerators, stoves, dishes, silverware and glassware.  

Units 2 and 3 have thermostat controled air conditioning. The Cottage and unit 1 use evaporative coolers. All of our units have a strict smoke free environment.

We provide complementary coffee and tea, off-street parking, a front and back yard with picnic table and barbeque grill.  It's a great location with just a two minute walk to dining and rafting outfitters.

Just across the street, Riverside park features picnic tables, shade trees, and a playground for the kids.

Looking for something to do? The Adrenaline Watersports Lodge is nearby many great attractions, activities, and areas of interest. Kernville has been rated one of the top 10 whitewater towns in the country and we have four rafting/ kayking outfitters within a five minute walk of the lodge.  Many of our guests look forward to great fishing in the Kern River or Lake Isabella just 3 miles downstream.  Kayakers and rafters enjoy running Class I-V whitewater on the Upper and Lower Kern. The nearby Sequoia National Forest offers beautiful hiking and biking trails just outside of town. While just an hours drive up river will get you to an impressive grove of Giant Sequoia trees and much more.  Visit the Kern River Ranger Station just across town to plan your trip.

·        Rates do not include tax, which is currently 6%.  

·        All of our rooms are no smoking, however guests may smoke on the deck and patio.

·        Small, well behaved dogs must be approved my management. $75 fee + $150 pet deposit. 

·        A two night minimum stay applies on event/holiday weekends. 

·        Reservations require a credit card or cash.

Our white water kayak school is located on the Kern River in Kernville, CA. This is approximately 45 minutes north east of Bakersfield, CA (see map on locations page). You may attend the school with no experience, but should be a good swimmer. The lodge is located at Riverside Park at the take out from the Powerhouse Run on the Kern River. Which means the river excitement is right in your front yard! Just walk across the street and jump in the water! White water is fun and exhilerating!

Our classes are taught in 1 to 3 class rapids. Classes cover eddy turns, peel outs, ferrying, kayak rolls, reading the river, hydraulics, safety, rescues, surfing, enders and more. Our instructor ratio is 3 to 1 insuring lots of attention and safety. All kayak equipment and instruction is included with  lodging in your kayak package. We use sit on top and sit in kayaks. In addition to kayaking, there is windsurfing, mountain biking, hiking, rock climbing and fishing if you need a break from kayaking. (Bring your own equipment for these alternative activities.) 

Weekday Package: Check in is 4pm on Sunday and Checkout is 12pm on Friday.

Weekend Package: Check in is Friday at 4pm and Checkout is Sunday at 12pm.

These packages are available April through August depending on water flow.
